VALUE SCAVENGER HUNT
Students selected four values; found objects to represent the values; then wrote simile-based analogies to state the reasons why the objects represented the value.

Adam:
Flexibility is like a piece of fabric in that it can be changed and shaped to a form that is needed.
Amber
Honesty is like a mirror in that when you look into a mirror, you always see things the way they really are. The mirror never lies.
Uniqueness is like a fingerprint in that you can look all your life and never find two fingerprints alike.
Loyalty is like the men in the armed forces in that they are serving our country and are willing to die for it.
Loving is like your family and friends in that they are always there for you no matter what happens.
Andrew:
Loyalty is like a dog in that even if you ignore him, he still loves you.
Austin:
Courageous is like a pirate who sails out to sea not knowing what lies ahead of him.
Brett:
Independence is like the American flag in that it represents freedom to think and be ourselves.
Daniel:
Caring is like wrapping paper in that it always has something in it to make you feel good.
Creative is like a pencil in that it draws what is on an individual's mind.
Elli: 
Orderly is like blocks because whenever they are stacked they are always in order.
Creativity is like a crayon because with a crayon you and anyone else can create a their own masterpiece.
Haley:
Creative is like a paintbrush in that it is what paints the world many colors and makes it more interesting.
Heather:
Playful is like a basketball goal in that it gives you the opportunity to hang out freely.
Independence is like your brain in that it thinks for itself and will allow you to accomplish goals without any influence from the outside.
Organization is like a daily schedule in that it will remind you to do all you need to do in an orderly fashion.
JACOB:
Friendliness: I choose my Father to show friendliness because he is kind, helps others, and always makes people feel good.
Tyler:
Courageous is like a firefighter in that it takes a lot of courage to put your life on the line to save another life.
