CURRICULUM
Students use hands-on-materials to physically represent and solve algebraic equations. At the end of the seventh lesson students are able to solve problems such
as: 2 (2x + 3) = x + 9 (ans: x=1) or 4x -2x + 3 = 2x + 2x -x (ans: x = 3).
The Life Lab student-owned and operated Christmas Shop requires the students to apply economic concepts learned in the Life Lab Classroom.
Our robotic and roller coaster engineers apply computer and engineering skills/
concepts through
cooperatively building,
programming, and testin
g robots.
Developing and applying computer tech
are integral parts of our Life Lab Programming
in the classroom and on field trips.
