CHALLENGE COURSE 2008, DARTON COLLEGE Challenge Course Facilitator, Michael White Building skills that build people!
Teams of students focused on identification of the problem and goal to be reached; brainstorming solutions; communicating and collaborating with group; developing the group solution and strategy, continual analysis and adaptations of the plan, successful implementation the plan, and their sense of accomplishment over successfully completing such a difficult task Group Challenge One: For a six man team to carry the water across many obstacles to the finish line without spilling the water or falling from the log. The former team was assisted by other team members, who also had to successfully cross the obstacle course without falling from the log or platform.

Note: Click on thumbnail pictures above for the larger picture HIGH ELEMENTS Students participating in high elements were self-challenged and developed self-esteem and confidence through reaching goals that required strength, courage (facing fears), overcoming obstacles, risk-taking, making the best choice , and persistence in the face of a difficult challenge.
